"And the public are so very supportive of all the riders. Every year it just gets better and better. The riders love this show and we all look forward to it."

Taking out the Estoril event was youngster Philipp Weishaupt, who pulled off a brilliant clear round, to prove that wisdom in jumping comes not only from age but from sheer talent.

The 26-year-old German fisnihed with an unbeatable time of 44.96 which boss Ludger Beerbaum described as a triumph of “youth over age”. With the Estoril leg out of the way, Edwina still has a VERY busy calendar before London commences, and will not actually head to Great Britain until after she has competed in both Chantilly and La Coruna! But her busy schedule has not affected her preparation, and she says both horse and rider...are READY!"My horses have been feeling very good. I have a few very exciting 8 year olds that are progressing really well....
And of course Itot is getting ready....ready for London!"

With the recent announcement of Australia's Olympic Show Jumping team, Edwina says she already knows all the team members, and is confident in their ability to do Australia proud!Story by our OS based Aussie Sarah Warne ... you can follow her on her blog
