I was off shopping today and went into a hardware shop to get jigsaw blades. I ran into a fella that I had sold a rescue pony to 3 1/2 years before. He was so happy to see me as he had sold his property and couldn't take the pony with him at this time. He had offered to free lease the pony to the new owners. They weren't interested and so this fella was getting desperate. Looks like the liitle guy might be coming back to us- full circle! My daughter is ready for this pony and I was looking for a pony for her! Louie is just 8hs, a shettie x mini and he is such a sweetheart.

BTW, does anybody know how to get the pong of dead mouse out of the kitchen drain? (Other than burning the sink? Never will I have tenents again! oooh just yuk!)

They put a mouse down the drain and expected it to just get rid of itself? Oh yuck. Some people are just dumb!

What about Draino or bleach or something....Why did you let your tenants live in the kitchen drain any way?

Attitude..its not whether you get knocked down its whether you get up again.

Hi Dragonfly have these guys given you a proper welcome to CH yet?
That is fantastic news about your pony! please post photos love to see happy ending pics.
is the mouse caught before the s bend or further down? if before s bend will have to undo it and try to remove mousie that way but if after try heaps and heaps of draino! Hmmmm wonder if your tenants did this to a place they rent! what damage will they do to one they own?

Have no fear of perfection -- you'll never reach it.

Hiya!
Sorry I didn't get back sooner, but had a blackout - perfect timing as usual! Anyway, while having a romatic chat by candle light, discussing the mouse pong, bf has decided to hack out all offending plumbing and replace it later today. Thanks for the words of wizdom.

This is my normal time to be up, as I'm an insommniac, somwhere between 1 and 4, or 3 and never get back to sleep until the next night!

Thanks Pauper, you have such a generous heart. If Louie comes back to us, I will definately have a bash at piccys. I'm rather inept at anything too technical, as I've a tech-head son who does all that stuff for me. BUT he's living elsewhere now, so I have my own private phone connection for 'How do I...?', 'Why dosen't this do...?' I do get that well rehearsed teenage eye-roll that invokes all sacastic remarks from said mother!

Have a nice day today
;-)

Hellow dragonfly!
How fantastic about your little pony! Yes, yes, piccies please :7 Talk about perfect timing - when things happen that way, I can't help but think it was *meant to be* :) That's awesome.

Keep us posted!

PS isn't it such a drag when you can't get to sleep? I used to be bad with the insomnia, but things have been better over the last three years... Now I've got broadband though...hard to keep myself away from the net! LOL. Can't wait to get a job over the uni holidays so I'll get more TIRED and fall back into my natural "bodyclock" workings... So I feel for you mate. Lack of sleep sucks.
