Yipes! I posted this last week seemingly *right* at the time everything went pearshaped with CH... Clicked "Post Message" and that was the end of it! Even though you've likely fixed your problem, Blackhorse, I figured I'd retry the post just for the heck of it.

Talk about withdrawal symptoms--even though I'm mainly just a poor wee lurker, I've been missing CH terribly!)

Gypsy Vanners, yum! ;) Don't know which is more lovely: Frieisians, Gypsies, or Dale ponies! I'll have one of each please.

RE: the boring computing stuff... Are you using Zone Alarm or a similar firewall creature? There are periodically problems reported with Zone Alarm (and possibly other "smart" firewalls) whereby they cause woe for YouTube viewers with respect to cookies. If you are using Zone Alarm, try temporarily unchecking Remove private header information and Block 3rd party cookies (don't forget to click Apply) and then revisit YouTube.

Sorry but I am one of those who dislike Irish Cobs (I refuse to call them anything else). They are lovely to look at but every time I look at them, those feathers give me nightmares! I don't envy anyone needing to maintain that much feather, let alone pay the bill on those big horseshoes.

If you google it there is some interesting info and pictures too!

I have been dreaming for a long time too, have even looked into importing one. Out of my league. They are not that empensive in the U.K. but importing one is another story. I have checked out all the web sites in U.K. and U.S.A but at the moment there is a monopoly in Australia Maybe when they become more popular

I like them.

They would take some looking after with their coats and feathers, but you do what you have to when you love them. I would gladly have one in my paddock.
