Sorry Dial Uppers, i couldn't reduce the size! This is a picture from my front door. They came straight over my horse paddocks, and apart from a few snorts and a bit of a spack from a couple, no one was stupid!

that first 'foter is amazing, looks like an advert for a winery!

What beautiful photos - when I was reading the start to your post - "they came over the paddock fence" etc, I was expecting kangaroos - not balloons!!!!

Shimmyshake, your place is just glorious!

I bet the ppl in the balloons were looking down and saying "Ooooh! I wish I lived in THAT place!" Hehehe, so do I. (I'm jealous!) :)

That first picture is stunning! I'm with you QV, I'm jealous as hell. Bet my horses would love the place, and not one of them would have to live on my verandah lol!

The people in the Elders balloon were talking, which is what alerted me in the first place. I thought someone was at the door LOL!

Thanks for your kind words guys, I love it here, and am very proud of my small slice of Australia :)

The view is of the western side of Mount Tamborine.

LOL, thought the area looked familiar.

Lived on the coast for many years.

Lovely photo's! What a nice thing to wake up to. :)

Those photos are beautiful! Balloons certainly are better than Jumbos that we had flying incredibly low the other week. Thought it was going to land on the roof!!!

*It is always a silly thing to give advice,
but to give good advice is fatal*

WOW, great photos. I cant wait until we move out of town.

Great pics Shimmy,

We have balloons take off all the time opposite our place, sometimes 4 or 5 together.
Great training for the ponies, none of them even bother to look when they fly over.

Here is one from my front window.

Wow Amanda what a view!

The balloons come over most mornings, but always behind the house and never in front!

They do try not to fly low over horse areas, but i guess the winds were different this morning. My horses handled it really well, no need for me to worry about balloons and my horses now :P
