evening folks, having unofficial dressage comp on sunday, need to know if juniors can wear top boots, or is it up to individual club, we run by efa rules of course

Juniors can wear top boots or gaiters for sports such as dressage, eventing and showjumping (the real equestrian sports). Only pony club and hacking/showing have outdated issues with top boots/ gaiters!

In Victoria PC juniors can also wear top boots but gaiters must be of a smooth surface! hope that helps Pauper

True, PCAV has changed the rules so that juniors can wear top boots or gaiters (no swuede chaps) i think it is just Ag shows that juniors must wear short boots

Well in QLD for ponyclub, i think that all juniors CANT wear top boots, chaps, gaiters, anything. But you could bring them anyway and ask around, im sure being unofficial they wouldent get you in trouble for wearing them, but just check with gear check or the judges or someone first, it is such a shame when people get eliminated for those little things.
