How a spam email actually works is that if someone on ur mailing list has a spam letter sent to them then u will get it as well. Its like they hack into ur email address book and send it to selected people in there. So get people on ur mailing list to stop spam emails and then they should stop. Or if u dont recognise the name dont open it!!! but open them fromus CH's. I think we all hate spam!!! AM I RIGHT??? lol

Hi there
I use VET Anti virus software to protect my system from Viruses etc.

After similar frustrations to you I subscribed to their Anti Spam software .
It has virtually eliminated the problem.
I was gatting up to 30 Emails per day with only 2 or 3 valid.
Like any system it is only as good as you let it.
Once you have identified a sender as Spam it is permanenmty blocked.
All other dubious Emails it sends to an Anti Spam folder which you need to review say once a week.
Any valid Emails sent there you just tick and it returns them to your Inbox, and they will be allowed always in future.
I get very few to recall now.
So now I dont get any Ads for Penny Deadful Stocks, Viagra Ads or any other of that garbage.
Hope this helps - I suspect any good Anti Virus software will also offer a Spam blocker.

There is another one you can download for free. I think it is called spamfighter.

On the news I saw that the King of Spam has been arrested. Let's see if that makes any difference!!

there are heaps of good free anti-spam programs available.

Also check with you Internet provider, they usually have anti-spam stuff to, but most do charge a $XX per month for it, I think it can be worth it.

Don't give up, see if your email allows you to block or bounce to the sender as well.
