Soyabean meal is very high in protein. For a adult working horse you should not exceed 5 cups (750g). Have a look on the Prydes website, they a product called ProteinPak. It is Extruded full fat Soyabean meal and it lists the feeding recommendations there. I hope this is of some help.

Wooow, 5 cups is too much! At 43% protein, 1 - 2 cups of FF soyabean meal daily max for growing, breeding or hard working horses is adequate.

Go to the Prydes web site

http://www.prydes.com.au/

As they make a full fat soy product and have details on their site.

They also have a diet advice service and can answer any questions.

There are some things you should know about feeding soy - in the circumstances that are well suited it is a terrific feed, but there are some situations where caution is warranted. Good luck.
