Hi Julia,

Welcome to cyberhorse! I am sure you will enjoy your time here.

Lovely horses you have there. I particularly like Casper he's gorgeous. My sister has an arab cross pony that looks similar to him.

What sort of riding do you do?

Hi Julie

I am originally from Wollongong and even though i am now in Sydney both my lovely boys are still down there (luckily my mum is a horse lover too and is happy to look after them during the week).

Beautiful horses you have there. I am sure you will love it here and enjoy it as much as the rest of us :)

Ok - so your TB looked so much like one of my old horses i went looking for a photo!!

Is not him - but gosh they are similar, especially in the head...they even have the same "sock" :)

Shame ...... I often wonder what happened to him..

Here he is:

We thought Lucky was in his late teens by the way he looked when I first got him, but found out he is only 7.

11-01-08, 07:49 AM
Nah, just seem to remember seeing the plate going round on the central coast here...

Hi Julia

Casper looks great!
You look very relaxed...totally different to Evil Jessie :)

Jessie who's Jessie... I've wiped her from my memory ha ha ha.

Casper is really good and cheeky... he stole a fingerbun practically out of my mouth the other day.

Hi there-I'm originally from the ' Gong along time ago.
I am curious to know where people can Trail ride these days down there? All the places we used to ride have been closed and developed and builkt on .I often wonder where people can go to ride other then a arena?

17-01-08, 04:11 AM
The place where I agist my horses is on the foreshore of Lake Illawarra and is on about 300acres with lots of bush trails...plus it has the nice views of the lake.

Hi :) Welcome to the nut house *LOLS* I'm from Robbo just up the hill from you - nice horsies too, like them both. The boyfriend isn't too bad either }> :D

Hi, another Gong resident. Love your kids, both look happy and contented, Enjoy the 300 acres of riding. I think I know where you agist. I think I work just around the corner from there and some kids I know might be at your paddocks. The view of the lake is great, isn't it.

That like it would be nice around the Lake. Are there any public Bush trails do you know ,like along the mountain? We used to be able to ride up to Balgownie and then up into the bush and along to Bulli. Once we went up the face of the escarepment to Brokers Nose -never tried that again, but I will always remember that ride.

I am also from the Gong, but I agist up at Darkes Forest.

I use to work at the riding school where I think your horse is agisted. It was 15 years ago though - doesn't time fly!!!

Welcome! :)

Casper has the prettest head, I'm a sucker for big eyes. Hope you enjoy yourself as much as I do :)

(It really freaks me out reading these kinds of threads, how small the Australian horse world is!)

Yeah it was a riding school... I did horse riding for school sport there for 3 years in high school.

Here's a nice head shot of casper..... such a poser!
