Just wondering if anyone has had a dressage jacket made in Thailand, and if they are happy with it and whats the best style for them to copy? thanks in advance

I had 2 jackets and a vest made. Get them to tailor it to you. I had mine copied off my Windsor which fits perfect, my father asked the tailor to make sure they left plent of seam to allow for alteration if needed. I ended up having both jackets totally re tailored when we got them back in Australia and there was hardly any seam left for adjustment.

My vest was perfect.

I had two jackets made in Thailand. I gave them an old hacking jacket to use as a model, that I'd grown out of. I chose the fabrics and the length, and had them add in extra layers of fabric stiffener in between the lining and outer to give a better sit.

Both fit perfectly, and I've had them now for a few years. Make sure the tailor you use comes recommended - there are always one or two that the Qantas staff use, and the embassy people if you know anyone there.

Otherwise ask a Thai friend :)
