Lets talk feet...

I have a TB who needs to be kept barefoot as he is so flat footed he can't keep shoes on.
I was going to keep my new TB barefoot, but her feet are constantly chipped and uneven. Would shoes help???
Or would they send me sliding down the tarmac as I have in the past?
Do we really need shoes? Unless we are screwing in studs or something remedial what is the point?
Our wild brumby and mustang counterparts have never had a shoe in their life.
Are we wasting time, money and ultimately our best friends feet?
HMMMM.... I wonder

will state here that there was a thbred here, 17.3hh with feet that were from coronet band to ground only an inch in height and would crumble under just finger touch. next owner took it barefoot successfully the original owner was mortified then stunned at the hardness and soundness developed by this big fella but its a very very long road for one this bad

it depends on personal preference in the end and how you feel about it
