Was at Hawksbury show watching the entertainment, a group of Parelli student were doing a demo, riding around with a halter and lead rope, as they do. What made me laugh was the commentator continually made reference to how Parelli encouraged 'natural self carriage', and how these horses were performing in 'Natural self carriage'(no impulsion with their nose stuck out, heads below the wither). I must be dumb as my idea of natural self carriage is when the horse is engaged enough to enable the head to be carried on the verticle. Maybe Parelli is going to trade mark 'Natural self carriage'
Did anyone else see this demo, and what did you think?
