I think the other topic is getting a bit long :-)
To be considered for WB, horses must be WB, TB (xx) or Arab (ox), Anglo Arab (x or AA), or from recognised stallion. TB have been used as a refiner in WBs and some of the TB stallions are very influentail in some breeds.... like Ladykiller xx in Holsteiners.
In places like Aust. and NZ we tend to have a large base of TB mares and are breeding up to WB stallions.... so our refinemant comes from the mares. But at some point we will need to start adding TB's (or Arabs or AA's) again because it is one of the accepted breeds to cross with WB's. But these stallions should be classified and preferable have a performance history. In the same way the TB mares should be classified with a performance history. It means with classification you have a way of getting and keeping quality within the breed.
