View Full Version : Reloading Form Tricks?

I am currently reloading all my zip files back to 1998 into Bet Selectorto overcome the track name problems etc. It seems pretty slow and I have a fast PC with 512mb of RAM.
Also when it comes across a meeting that may already be in there it stops to ask me if I want to overwrite it.
Are there any little tricks I might be missing?
I suppose I could delete all the old ones first?

Mike.

There is a command line interface which will help you to do this.

Format is

pricewin /import tvfx for 10 start or /import form if its 5 start

You need to have your meetings unzipped in the C:\tvf\tvfx or c:\tvf\form folder first

The command line version doesn't ask permission to overwrite.

Thanks Bill

Can I ask you to explain in detail for me???

Where do I type the command line "pricewin /import form" does this go in the Start Run open box of my machine?

Sorry, you need to open a DOS window by going to Start->All Programs->Accessories->Command Prompt.

Then cd (change directory) to wherever your Bet Selector software lives eg cd c:\price

Then type your command line pricewin ... etc

Thanks Bill

Only now I get the following message...
"The Pricewin.exe file is linked to missing export CAVOGUI.DLL:ApplicationExec"

Funnily enough this file seems to be in the C:\Price directory?

Bill has referred to the Price Predictor executable pricewin - just change to betsel for the Bet Selector executable if you are running Bet Selector rather than Price Predictor.
