Prompted by our Cremello stallion yesterday I was wondering what pics you have managed to capture whilst your horse was in an unusual situation and caught unaware LOL

Noah was just keeping his ears warm in the bad weather

Happy to be able to hear again :D

No piccies, but as my pony is going just a little bit deaf with old age, he is often caught unawares.
No matter how loudly I clang the gate when I go in to feed them, I have to walk most of the way to him (who is still out in the paddock, grazing, completely oblivious). I get about 10 metres away from him, and say "Sandy, are you coming in for tea?". He gives me the biggest "oooooo where did you come from then?" expression, looks both ways sideways, then comes trotting up merrily, nickering. Most days.
Lol. He's such a dag :P

Yes - or like a horse in his own mobile tent!:)

09-01-11, 12:47 PM
Hahahaah yes....

It wasnt until I looked at the pictures I took of him that I realised why his rug was so damn big.... I thought I had put a 5'6 on him when in fact it was a 5'9 lol.... He is just a smidge small for a 5'3 so now it makes perfect sense to me

Poor boy, now he is cold as he has no rug on and he is moping around the pool waiting for the girls to come over for some conversation

EF- that is a classic pic! I swear if you had put that pic up and asked what animal it was... I wouldn't have had a clue. Even the tail looks odd! Love it. :)

Ummm not sure, think it's Nimbabeer (sp). I'm up in Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory with 3 mountains around the community, Arrguluk, Injalak and that one.

Thanks Lea.
Here's another photo, one that I'm rather proud to call my own work! My sister working a client's horse who was being a little bit difficult this particular day, not sure if you call it a weird photo but certainly a once off that I thought I'd share anyway. By the way, the rider stayed on!

That is a long way away!

Are you there because it is home or for work, both or neither? :D

Up here cos my OH got a job here 15 months ago and I followed him up because I'm just plain crazy! I used to work 530ks west of Alice Springs (Alice was the closest town for us) again, followed the OH out there. My screen name of GoneRama is actually derived from the aboriginal language from the last community we worked at. Rama (pronounced rumma if that makes sense) is the Pintubi word for Mad!

It's not too bad here, Kakadu National Park is only 15ks away and Darwin is 280ks away by road. Yeah, it's different all right. Can't really call it 'home', home for me is the NSW/Vic border where I grew up.
