APRIL CLINIC 2nd & 3rd April @ The Stables - Kooweerup Road

Brilliant March Clinic at new venue The Stables.

If you read Chaff Chat you have probably seen some articles in the last few issues by Trevor Ibbottson Woodward from Cumbrian Wood Performance Horses.

Trevor is an International Coach highly experienced in Dressage and World Cup Showjumping that is now based in Australia conducting clinics all over. His training facility and stud is based in NSW however he has students down here in Victoria.

Its a fantastic opportunity for anyone that is serious about furthering their skills in either discipline, prelim to grand prix or just wanting to belong to a training squad where you will progress and get fantastic results. Whether you compete or just train at home dont miss out on this amazing opportunity!

Trevor uses Non Force Training techniques and also trains a lot of the fitness of the horse and rider. For those that saw Ingrid Klimke at DWTS on the weekend, this is the type of excercise schooling Trevor teaches, amongst the likes of Ingrid, Klaus Balkenhol etc.

If you can pm me or if you know of someone else that isnt a member on here you can email us on

With advanced riders it can improve the speed and line of the jumping course, or the balance of

Specifically, we can help with'.

Why the horse on the forehand (how is the rider contributing?).
Falling in – cutting corners
Impulsion – how the rider sits affects impulsion greatly.
Crookedness – tipping right or left, or too forward
Jumping position, sitting trot, easier aids for higher level work.
