Posting on behalf of Raennik :)

For those of you that remember the struggle we had with Mystique 5 years ago, I thought you might like a little update. She had a beautiful Australian Pony foal on Monday night and they are both doing really well. She is a great Mum and he is a healthy, cheeky little bloke. I still have such fond memories of the people from this Forum that supported Mystique and I at the time she was born 7 1/2 weeks premature. She is little and remains a bit of a law onto herself, but she is as healthy as a horse.

Oh that is just lovely! So glad to see such a great outcome from something that could have been so tragic!
Congratulations Le Le

What a dear little mare & foal.
Mystique's dramas were before my time. What's her breeding? Her height? (You said she was petite) Does the baby have a name yet?

Awe, what a lovely update. I remember Mistique, nice to see her all grown up :)

I will have to ask Raennik about Mystiques deets... Will have to see if I can find the threads from when it all happened.

(the below should *hopefully be in date order*)

Has it been five years already!!! What an adorable little foal- thanks for posting, Le Le! Hasn't Mystique grown up into a lovely mare? I remember when she was born she was so tiny. I think we all lost some sleep over her. And remember dear little Shakespeare? What a roller coaster of a time that was. Pass on our congrats to Raennik.

How lovely to see Mystique with a foal of her own, and hasn't she grown into a really nice mare!

Thank you Le Le for posting photos on behalf of Raennik.

The 5 years sure have flown!

It certainly was a concerning time for all CH'ers with Mystique and Glen Lamond's poor little Shakespeare :(

I think I joined CH around about this time and I remember Mystique and Shakespeare well. What a gorgeous pic. Thanks Le Le for posting on behalf of Raennik and please send my best wishes to her. :)

I remember the story, I think I stressed quite a bit at the time waiting for the updates.
It's great to hear how things turned out.
All the best for her with her baby, what a fighter she was!

how marvelous to see her now! & what a lovely mare Mystique has become - what a trip down memory lane re reading those 5 y o posts - so many of those posters then, no longer on CH which is a pity (unless they have new names?)

Oh wow that's wonderful news! Great pic too. I first joined CH back around 2004 I think but over the years i've lost my username and rejoined a couple of times. I definitely remember this little girl.
