I agree, cyrus holocaust is right. ACT exceeded Sydney for smoke pollution yesterday.
I very rarely have my mobile with me, but now carry it everywhere with the fires near me app so I can monitor things. There was a big fire near Bungendore the other day, police think it was deliberately lit. No houses destroyed but kms of fencing gone.

I really can't get my head around people who could do such a thing.
But everything will be better now ScoMo is coming home!! (NOT)

    Stay safe everyone

presently hosting two escapees from the fires in the mountains, big and bigger, one is a massive percheron mare the other an even taller TB who wanted to emulate Holy Roller I think? their owner hasn't a clue if she still has a home to go back too yet.

Penrith panthers is putting people up who have had to flee the fires

scary and sad times with these terrible fires

daughter in laws home is in the line too

she fled on friday so I am checking on the place and have their dog here.

maybe the sky has forgotten how to rain?

even the prickly pear is shriveling?

they said it was going to rain here.. well something fell. It made noise and thunder and lighting

even set a neighbors paddock on fire

and in spots the sail was damp

    Stay safe everyone

The only thing wrong with a horse is that it is usually attached to a human

We have had about 33mm since the 16th, look what me camping out for a long time can do to the weather... but gee it is nice to be home in my bed with the loo close by... more rain, but no crazy stuff like Canberra... just rain that is not flooding, that does not wash us away. Please.
