Bit question to see if i can draw out some life
I just bought a stubben ez control bit trying to find a stable mouthpiece. So under contact it kind of locks in to a Mullen shape.
when i hold the bit up by the centerpiece one side drops freely and the other side stays fixed until it's rolled a bit more.
So the question is, is that difference in action each side likely to cause issues?

I don't know so my guess would be you won't until you try it I guess some horses will like it and some won't!
I do know the Boucher bit is a very stable bit due to the upper ring attaching it to the cheek pieces may be worth a try if this one doesn't't work for you
