Default Tall riding boots for short legged riders

    Hi everyone,

After riding in chaps/gaiters for ever I am currently looking to purchase my first pair of tall boots. The problem I have is that I have a short (39cm) but wide calf (42cm) and I am struggling to find anything to fit based on the measurements I can see online.
Has anyone had a similar experience and/or and can recommended some boots that I should look at that I don't need to break the bank to buy?

    Thanks in advance

If you find a pair you like with plain tops, take a photo and go talk to your local cobblers, you will find some of them are capable of chopping and rebinding the tops. Go with a cobbler not a saddler, saddlers are far too expensive.

Mous boots in QLD make made to measure boots worth talking to them.
I think most European boot makers get you measured by their retailer in Aust. Petrie certainly do.
Neither are cheap but really top quality well worth considering for long term use
